settlers 04:17
SETTLERS : Killing all the sons put 'em in the forest bet you'll never guess which part. Taking seven tongues string 'em on a wire bet you'll never guess where hung. Loose eleven laces worn on lethal paces bet you'll never guess where from. Ten mighty arms waving from a river ten fish that once were swans. As you travel through the shadows that the sons cast are those twigs that crack or bones? On a rolling hill golden in the sunlight rolling under lolling crowns. From that golden hill holy in the morning you can see them rolling down. Killing all the sons put 'em in the forest, bet you'll never guess which part.

good luck 02:43
Now I’ve had pretty good luck keeping my head up, keeping my hands clean. But I fucked it up trying to help fix that cranky old killing machine. I’m careless and I’m tired, and I let the strings get to old. I can still act like I mean something but the young ones are giving it away for free. So put your gloves on, clean the house out. You look like another man’s mistake. Keep your chin up and your mouth shut. You have to be something even if it’s nothing all that great.
3.
disappointed 05:41
I don’t want to disappoint you. I don’t want to take your breath away. I don’t want to taste the last man that you had when you had your head and your heart in the weeds. I don’t want another empty voice I’ve been talking to myself for way too long. If it’s crazy to appeal to saner days lock me up and let me toss around my shit. You say you're going to think about it. How you gonna think about? Are you just a reckless girl? Are you gonna stay that way? You take your cues from empty lot. You bet your life on buckshot. Those heavy books might be lost on your tongue set them down take a step even you can stand tall.
4.
If we wait too long we’ll forget all the reasons. Our eyes will well up, our grip will fail. We’ll say yes to anything. We’ll lose our teeth. It’s cracked at the base there is nothing left to keep.

If you want to dress me in royal clothes and banners be ready for the fan and fair, a simple wave a quiet stare, a symbol of the dirt we share. I need more time to really care. Take a little pleasure, in wearing out your welcome. My judgement isn’t meant to be the final color that we see, the red stain on the drapery, the stigma between you and me. Tell me when I’m foolish I’ll tell you when I’m angry. Cover me with thicker skin. Don’t let any light get in. With rules like this we’ll never win. Picture me a little scared of choosing words I cannot spell. We misinterpret one by one. In thinner years our day will come.
8.
Don’t you worry about the coming tide. It will only take you so far. It will only make the horses hide for so long. Don’t you wake up lonely? Don’t you wake up scared to meet the facets of the fire, meet the aspects of a fuller desire? Carrying our armor, deeper and deeper, the protector and the keeper of an ether that would out race the reaper. Fever shudder hoof beats heat a burning path. There will be no tide, no shore, that could carry matter faster than our mind’s path can.
